Introductory Offer Terms and Conditions
1. Information on how to enter and our offer form part of these Terms and Conditions. The 'Offer' is a Goal Setting Consultation with a qualified financial adviser from Reid McGill at the offices of Reid McGill in Casuarina, NSW. This will take the form of an appointment either in person or by phone that will last no longer than 2 hours and is at no obligation to either the Participant or the Promoter. The Offer is valued at $440 inclusive of GST. Up to 5 Goal Setting Consultations are offered.
2. Entry is open to residents of NSW and Queensland, who visit www.reidmcgill.com.au and register to receive Reid McGill's quarterly newsletter before Wednesday 30 June 2010 and agree to the Terms and Conditions associated with registering to receive the Newsletter. Participants must be over 18 years of age.
3. Employees of Reid McGill and their immediate families, their affiliates/joint promotional partners, and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible.
4. Promotion commences 9.00am AEDST Friday 1 January 2010 and closes 5.00pm AEST Wednesday 30 June 2010 ('Promotional Period').
5. Participants may enter only once during the Promotional Period by fully completing the Reid McGill newsletter registration form located on the Home Page at www.reidmcgill.com.au.
6. The Promoter (Reid McGill) reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any Participant who tampers with the entry process or who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
7. Following the close of the Offer on Wednesday 30th June 2010, no further entries will be accepted.
8. Winners will be selected at random during the week following the closing date of the competition. The winners will be notified by telephone, e-mail or mail, and their names will be published on the Reid McGill website.
9. All ancillary costs associated with participating in the Offer will be the responsibility of the Participant.
10. The Offer can be taken at any time before the 17 December 2010. If not taken up prior to this date, the Offer will be forfeited.
11. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the Offer value. The offer is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
12. The Promoter's decision in relation to all aspects of this promotion is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
13. No responsibility will be accepted for incomplete, late, lost or misdirected entries.
14. In the event that any original Participants drawn have not come forward to claim his/her Offer by 17 December 2010, the Promoter may conduct such further draws as are necessary, to distribute the Offer selected by the Promoter's representative.
15. If for any reason this Offer is not capable of running as planned including, but not limited to, infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Offer, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disquailfy any individual who tampers with the entry process, and, subject to any written directions given by the respective Lottery Department, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Offer.
16. The Promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, provider, computer equipment, software, technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, or any combination thereof, including but not limited to, injury or damage to Participant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participation in or down-loading any materials in this Offer.
17. Any costs associated with accessing the website is the Participant's responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used. Any contact details entered incorrectly on the website shall be deemed invalid.
18. The Promoter reserves the right to request the successful Participants to provide proof of age, identity and residency prior to presenting the Offer. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter.
19. The Promoter, Reid McGill, shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for personal injury which is suffered or sustained, as a result of taking part in the Offer, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. It is a condition of accepting the Offer that the Participants may be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion.
20. The Promoter collects Participants' personal information in order to conduct the promotion. If the information requested is not provided, the Participant may not participate in the promotion. By entering the promotion, unless otherwise advised, each Participant also agrees that the Promoter may use this information, in any media for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without any further reference, payment or other compensation to the Participant, including sending the Participant electronic messages. Participants' personal information may be disclosed to State lottery departments and winners' names published as required under the relevant lottery legislation. A request to access, update or correct any information should be directed to the Promoter at the address set out below.
21. Participants consent to the Promoter using the Participant's name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they accept the Offer (incl. photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period of time without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this Offer (including any outcome) and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
22. In the event that the Offer is/are not available, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute prize/s in its discretion to the same and equal recommended retail value and/or specification subject to any written directions from the respective State lottery departments.
23. Unless expressly stated within these Terms and Conditions, all other expenses become the responsibility of the Participant.
24. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from the Offer. Independant financial advice should be sought.
