Now the information is presented to me, not me having to chase.
Additional benefits I had not anticipated is having someone help with staff support and training, the transfer of knowledge, and a sounding board who understands the numbers of my business.
Also I had not realised the opportunity cost of me spending my time in these areas... this was impeding the growth of my business.
